BAE Systems Shared Services Inc is looking for an HR Compliance Specialist to join the Workforce Relations and HR Compliance Team. This individual will work on the development and implementation of on a variety of HR compliance programs including, but not limited to, Affirmative Action and EEO programs and processes, OFCCP compliance reviews, and other compliance related processes. Key responsibilities will include:
1. Assist in delivery of HR Compliance projects to implement Section 503 and Section 4212 regulatory requirements and future regulatory changes.
2. Assist in development and delivery of annual affirmative action plans and training to senior management and HR teams.
3. Continually improve data integrity and accuracy
4. Assist with other projects and duties as assigned. Some travel may be required.
The Principal Compliance Specialist supports Sectors, Centers of Expertise (COEs), and the Resource Center with issues arising in these areas. The Compliance Specialist will be responsible for assisting the HR Compliance team in the design, implementation and delivery of training programs, products, and portal content to ensure the BAE Systems Human Resources team is educated on federal, state and local regulatory requirements. This individual will be heavily involved in data management and data analysis. The Compliance Specialist fosters a collaborative team environment and a strong service oriented culture that ensures delivery of efficient, effective, quality driven service to internal customers.

• Strong analytical skills and data analysis skills. • Knowledge of affirmative action and equal employment opportunity laws and regulations. • Demonstrated experience with affirmative action plan preparation and experience with OFCCP affirmative action compliance reviews. • Strong collaborator. Demonstrated ability to work on cross functional teams • Experienced with human resource information systems (e.g., PeopleSoft) and applicant tracking systems. • Strong knowledge of and experience with Microsoft Excel. Must be able to use Excel to perform analysis on large sets of data using pivot tables, formulas, and other functions. Must have experience with other MS Office programs (Outlook, Word, Access, Powerpoint). • Demonstrated communication skills, including ability to establish and maintain positive working relations with employees at all levels. • Experience in creating and delivering professional presentations • Bachelor's Degree in a related business discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, professional training or work experience. • 3-5 years related experience. • Ability to travel 10%
Preferred Skills:
-Master’s degree -PHR/SPHR/GPHR certification -Compensation or HR generalist experience -Knowledge of PeopleSoft
