This position will report to the C5ISR, Electronics and Infrastructure Solutions
(CEIS) Quality Manager and will be responsible for all quality assurance and
quality control requirements for the Automated Installation Entry (AIE) and Electronic Security Systems (ESS V) programs. Incumbent is responsible for performing the following functions with respect to the AIE & ESS V programs:
1. Plan and conduct monthly PPQA and QMS audits
2. Brief Program Management monthly on PPQA
3. Manage Measurement & Analysis (quality metrics)
4. Maintain product Value Stream Map (VSM)
5. Plan, update, & improve product inspections
6. Provide input to test group on testing improvements
7. Maintain Test Incident Database
8. Manage nonconformances
9. Manage Corrective and Preventive action
10. Plan and administer peer and expert reviews for all work products (CDRLs and others as defined)
11. Maintain calibration log for test and measuring equipment unique to programs
12. Provide Quality input to Monthly Status Report
13. Develop annual Process Improvement Plan
14. Orchestrate and lead process improvement initiatives
15. Coordinate training of pre-fielding teams and monitor pre-fielding quality
16. Coordinate training of fielding teams and monitor fielding quality
17. Implement and maintain visual aids for program quality
18. Ensure supplier quality requirements are included in POs
19. Manage & monitor supplier quality
20. Support internal Change Control Boards (CCBs), Readiness Review Boards (RRBs), and Program Management Reviews (PMRs)

IMPORTANT NOTE: This position is located in scenic and historic Charleston, SC.

Requirements:
1. Ability to acquire and maintain U.S. government security clearance and/or Common Access Card (CAC) should it be required by the position.
2. Ability to acquire and maintain corporate credit card should it be required by the position.
3. Two years experience in similar IT system development, integration, production, deployment and sustainment in a Quality management role.
4. Some background in ISO 9001 or similar QMS.
5. Some background in Software Quality.
6. Some understanding of Electronic Security Systems and Access Control Systems
7. Ability to deliver presentations in customer environment.

Education: Must have at least a Bachelors Degree in an engineering discipline.

Progressive Experience: Must have at least four (4) years experience with engineering principles and techniques to develop complex specifications and procedures, develop and analyze designs, and evaluate technical reports.

Specific Experience: At least two (2) years of the aforementioned experience shall be in providing guidance and direction of tasks.

1. Skills to plan, monitor and perform responsibilities indicated by the required functions of the position.
2. Ability to understand and facilitate resolution of complex technical and process issues.
3. Strong oral and written communication skills, strong interpersonal skills, and superior organizational abilities.
4. Formal training in and/or experience with the development and implementation of ISO 9001:2008 policies and procedures.
5. Experience in Continuous Process Improvement (CPI), Lean Six Sigma (LSS) and other CPI methods.
6. Experience with statistical process control and other quantitative analysis methods.
7. BSEE/CE/CS
8. Some understanding of DIACAP or RMF IA
9. Registered Communications Distribution Designer (RCDD) preferred.
